Mr. Ravi Pinjani

Mr. Ravi Pinjani is an Advocate of the Supreme Court and a Barrister-at-Law (Gray’s Inn, UK). He is an alumnus of the Columbia University (New York), where he was awarded the Justice Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar award and is also a Fulbright Scholar.
He also is an Attorney-at-Law, with practice rights in the state of New York, USA. Mr Pinjani has been practicing law since 2006 and in 2012 he took charge of the lawfirm M/s Hussain & Haider as its Managing Partner until 2019.
Hamza Hussain Hidayatallah
Partner
Mr. Hidayatallah is a Barrister-at-Law (Middle Temple, UK) having completed the Bar Professional Training Course from BPP University, London and the LLB (Hons) from the University of London (International Programmes). He is enrolled on the Sindh Bar Council's roll of Advocates, with rights of audience before the High Courts of Pakistan.
Mr. Hidayatallah has substantial litigation experience regularly appearing before the High Courts, District Courts and various Tribunals in Pakistan. He also provides significant assistance with regards to matters before the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan. Additionally, Mr. Hidayatallah is well-versed in corporate advisory and transactional structuring and works with numerous clients both domestic and international.
He has previously remained a Visiting Faculty member of SZABIST for many years for the Law of Torts and Criminal Law.
Mr. Umair R. Vadria

Mr Vadria is an Advocate of the High Courts and holds a law degree from the University of London. He has been practising law since 2005 and joined hands with Mr Pinjani as a Partner in M/s Hussain & Haider in 2014, which was subsequently renamed as M/s Hussain, Haider, Pinjani & Vadria and continued as such until 2019. Mr. Vadria has been actively involved with the Government of Sindh in relation to various projects being undertaken under the head of Public Private Partnerships.

Zehra Hussain
Senior Associate
Zehra Hussain has been an Associate at the firm since 2022. She completed her LLB (Honours) from the University of London in 2007, and her LLM and LPC from the University of Westminster with a commendation in 2021.
Her work spans a wide range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. She has experience in areas such as company law, labor law, competition law, mergers and acquisitions, rights issues, IPOs, sukuks, technology licensing, intellectual property, drug regulation, and more. She has also assisted on matters involving family law and real estate.
Ms. Hussain is proficient in drafting agreements, legal notices, and legal opinions. Her responsibilities include preparing corporate documentation, assisting in due diligence processes, and supporting compliance reviews under applicable federal and provincial laws. She regularly contributes to internal legal research and drafting across the firm's practice areas. She has the rights of audience before the High Courts of Pakistan.
Jamal Nasir

Mr. Jamal Nasir is an Associate with the firm. He completed his graduation from University of Karachi followed by LLB from S.M Law College. Mr. Nasir is enrolled on the Sindh Bar Council’s roll of Advocates, with rights of audience before the High Courts of Pakistan. During the course of his practice, he has gained experience in civil and criminal litigation. Mr. Nasir assists partners in numerous matters pertaining to civil and criminal litigation and regularly appears before the Honourable High Court, District Courts and Tribunals. He also deals with Public Sector Government Departments on behalf of the firm.
Kainaat Shabbir

Ms. Kainaat Shabbir is an Associate at the Firm and is enrolled as an Advocate with the Sindh Bar Council. She holds an LLB (Hons.) from the University of London and completed the Legal Practice Course with an LLM from the University of Law.
Ms. Kainaat’s practice covers a broad range of corporate, commercial, transactional, and regulatory matters. She advises on company law and regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, securities and capital markets, financing transactions, and foreign exchange regulatory matters. She is also actively involved in drafting transaction documentation, legal research, and advisory work across various areas of corporate and commercial law.
Syed Basit Hussain Jaffri

Syed Basit Hussain Jaffri is an associate at the firm, specializing in both litigation and corporate matters. He graduated with a BA.LLB (Hons) from S.M. Law College, Karachi University.
Mr. Jaffri provides essential support to partners in a variety of legal matters. As an adept litigator, he frequently appears before Subordinate Courts and Tribunals, handling a broad spectrum of civil and criminal cases. His expertise encompasses meticulous legal research, drafting of legal documents—including suits and notices—and the efficient management of diverse litigation and corporate responsibilities.
Syed Mujtaba Hussain Abidi

Syed Mujtaba Hussain Abidi is a Associate and an Advocate enrolled with the Sindh Bar Council since 2025. He is also a member of the Karachi Bar Association.
Mujtaba graduated with an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London. In addition to his legal practice, Mujtaba has served as a mooting trainer, mentoring law students in advocacy, legal research, case analysis, and the practical skills required for effective litigation. His experience as both a competitor and trainer has strengthened his understanding of persuasive advocacy and dispute resolution. He regularly assists the firm’s partners in proceedings before the High Court and subordinate courts and appears before subordinate courts in a wide range of matters. His work includes legal research, drafting, case strategy, client advisory work, and courtroom advocacy.
Syeda Javeria Ali
Associate
Ms. Javeria Ali graduated from the University of London with an LL.B. (Hons) degree in 2025, securing an Upper Second Class Honours and earning placement on the Dean’s List for two academic years.
As an Associate at Pinjani & Vadria and an Advocate of the Subordinate Courts, she regularly appears before the District Courts of Karachi in civil and family matters. Her practice includes drafting pleadings, legal opinions, and case briefs, as well as assisting senior partners in the preparation and conduct of matters before the District Courts and the High Court of Sindh.

Malik Mohammad Ejaz

He is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He has completed his LLB from SM Law College, Karachi and his M.A Political Science from University of Karachi.
Mr. Ejaz benefits from a vast wealth of experience and expertise in property law and related transactions. He was a senior associate of the firm for over twenty-five years and continues to act as an Of Counsel primarily assisting the firm in all property related matters.
